Motor Claims Performance Dashboard (Power BI)

The problem

There is no single, reliable view of motor claims performance. Management cannot see turnaround times (TAT) and the 30-day settlement service level (SLA) by zone, cannot separate a one-off spike from a trend, and has no early-warning view of leakage and fraud at garages. Claims MIS needs a Power BI report built on the raw extracts from 1 April 2024 to 30 September 2026 that answers these questions every month without manual work.

How it works

1. Start the project — the 5-day timer begins and you can download the 5 raw data files.
2. Clean the data in Power Query, build the data model and DAX measures, and design the dashboard pages from the BRD in Power BI Desktop.
3. Answer 50 checkpoint tasks from your dashboard (30 basic, 15 intermediate, 5 hard). Each is checked instantly.
4. Upload screenshots of your dashboard and write the management note in the workspace.
5. Score = 70% tasks + 30% report review. 60 or more earns a certificate.

What you will deliver

• A Power BI report (.pbix, kept on your computer) with the four pages in the dashboard specification, built on the downloaded data.
• Answers to the 50 checkpoint tasks (30 basic, 15 intermediate, 5 hard), read from your report and typed into the JobPrax workspace.
• Two to four screenshots of your report pages, uploaded to the final report.
• A management note for the Head of Motor Claims written in the workspace: executive summary, data quality, findings and recommendations.
